End Of The Roll floor covering franchise resulted from the efforts of two founding partners.
From 1988 to 1993, under the direction of Urs Steinmann, seven End Of The Roll stores were developed in British Columbia.
From 1991 to 1993 Duane Ortynski had co-ownership of five floor covering stores in Alberta and British Columbia.
During 1995, the two companies merged and a new corporate franchising structure was created which became the Franchisor for End Of The Roll across Canada.
Today, there are over 50 locations nationwide. The average gross margin of an End Of The Roll franchise is higher than the industry average.
End Of The Roll maintains a close relationship with our Franchisees and provides services such as: site location, accounting, inventory management, marketing and strategic guidance.
End Of The Roll represents one of the largest purchasers of floor covering products in Canada and has strong relationships with most major floor covering suppliers, manufacturers and distributors in North America.
